Being a Social Worker is so much more than a job for me: it's my passion. I've trained and studied extensively to pursue this passion. Beyond my enthusiasm and dedication, I also have a solid background in trauma focused therapy, victim advocacy, and case management working in an urban setting with diverse populations.

Children, youth, and family social workers serve on the front lines alongside individuals and families in all phases of their life cycles. It is my goal to provide a broad range of services to individuals including marital therapy, family counseling, and parent education just to name a few. In my work, my focuses have been trauma, LGBTQIA+ youth and parental support and education, with a strong focus on the wellness model instead of the traditional “sick” model. This can take many forms including: yoga, meditation, and somatic exercises.

I’m informed by cognitive behavioral therapy theories, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic psychodynamic theories, attachment focus and use an integrative, individualistic approach.  I am committed to providing therapy in a safe, effective, supportive, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.
