Hello and welcome! As a counselor, my goal is to help you along your journey towards greater self-understanding and peace of mind.

I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and began my clinical work with a diverse group of clients seeking help for addiction and a range of mental health issues. I have worked extensively with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety and depression. My therapeutic work is informed by evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I use a person-centered approach and view the issues that bring clients to counseling within the context of their specific life circumstances.

It is my belief that the counseling process must be tailored to meet the individual’s needs. You may want to address the ways past experiences have shaped your life, learn skills to help cope with the issues you are currently facing, find a deeper meaning in your life, or move towards healing. Whatever your goals, we will work together to determine a way forward that will be most effective for you.

Feeling comfortable with your counselor is crucial to successful therapy. Looking for the right person can be an overwhelming process. I am happy to offer a free 10-minute consultation to help us determine if we will be able to develop a productive working relationship.

Congratulations on making the decision to prioritize your well-being. I look forward to meeting with you.
