Lauren Dangelo

Lauren is passionate about supporting individuals as they explore their relationship to sex, identity, and trauma—particularly within communities where these conversations are often silenced or stigmatized. A graduate of Northwestern University, Lauren brings an integrated lens to her work—drawing from psychodynamic, feminist, and systems perspectives—while honoring each person’s unique context and experience.
She is Brainspotting Phase 1 Certified, using this relational, brain-body, mindfulness-based approach to help clients access and process trauma stored in the body. Brainspotting works by helping the brain and body find where distress is being held, so it can be safely processed and released. It allows people to reconnect with their instincts and emotions—especially the ones they may have learned to ignore because of past experiences, society, or how they were raised.
Above all, Lauren is committed to creating safe, attuned spaces where people feel free to explore their identities, emotions, fears, and desires. She walks alongside her clients on their journey toward wholeness and wellness with compassion, presence, and unwavering respect.
